Thermae Sylla Spa

Nearing its 120th year, Thermae Sylla holds the distinction of being Aidipsos' first modern hotel. This notable establishment, inaugurated in 1896, was built on the town's most beautiful spot by local nobleman architect, Errikos Tobazis. The area, renowned for its healing springs, lacked modern hotels to cater to the influx of visitors, until Thermae Sylla came into being. The original building boasted 80 rooms, all fitted with high-quality furnishings and equipped with thermal water-filled marble tubs in the basement. Notably, the construction phase unearthed ancient Roman ruins, further enriching the site's historical significance. The property quickly became a popular haven for the elite seeking relaxation and healing, hosting personalities such as Queen Olga of Greece, Winston Churchill, Aristotle Onassis, and many more. Today, Thermae Sylla continues to draw in prominent figures, including Russian astronaut Sergey Revin, offering advanced treatments like mud balneotherapy, hydromassage, and detoxification treatments. After 12 decades, the establishment beautifully marries its thermal waters' therapeutic properties with the latest medical technology, securing its place as one of the world's leading spas.
